Introduction: HJ Fivelstad

Hello! My name is HJ Fivelstad and I am the new contributor to this section. I am a native Norwegian and have lived my whole life in this beautiful country. I am, among other things, an avid football lover and I look forward to give you my viewpoints on Norwegian football and the Norway national football team.

Although I am highly interested in Norwegian football, I actually do not have any Norwegian favourite teams or players. So my views will come from a completely neutral stance, no bias whatsoever. In the next post I will present my thoughts on Norway’s ups and downs in the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification (Norway’s group, Group 9, contained only five teams and all fixtures have now been played).

In close-future posts I will focus on what’s needed to be done to improve our beloved national team, and also present team news and viewpoints regarding the upcoming friendly against South Africa on Saturday, October 10th. This will be Norway’s final match this year.
